Remember Me
I dropped before beating the first boss. The whole game is a tutorial. No, really. For some reason they added in game tutorials for every action. I've never seen a game that wants to guide the player for just about everything. Even the original Doom and Splinter Cell series didn't force tutorials and text everywhere like what was done with Remember Me.
The game begins with a yellow line to follow. From there you have yellow arrows for every direction and move. For every new combat power you get, the game is halted to explain it. The combat system requires you to pause the game, open up a menu and choose moves one by one. Prince of Persia SoT had combos but you didn't had to pre select moves, you just pressed the buttons to perform them. The combat system adopted in Remember Me would suit a turn based game better. The camera also doesn't help and it can be worse than the angles in Prince of Persia SoT.
I watched the rest of the game in youtube. As you progress you gain new attacks and combos but, ultimately, it's the same pattern over and over.
It has an ok plot and cutscenes. I'd say that this game is superior to The Force Unleashed in every aspect.
The voice acting is ok, nothing spectacular.
In case you are interested in environment art and cyberpunk themes, do check this game out.
